Rules of procedure

The cottage can accommodate a maximum of (8) adults and an extra (1) child. It is forbidden to exceed the maximum capacity of people who can sleep in the chalet
Check-in time is after 3pm. Check-out time is before 10am (flexible if there is no other reservation before or after).
Pets are not permitted on the property (host allergy)
Smoking is not permitted (host allergy)
No party or events.

Additional rules

Use respectfully (not breaking) the furniture, appliances and any other goods left at your discretion.

Wood for fire camp and stove is provided free of charge. Do not use stove wood to burn outside, otherwise a fee will be applicable.

The water comes from a 160’ feet well. It is pure and drinkable. The water of the area is ferrous, thus it takes a filter to remove all the iron from the water. The filter does a backwash every night between 3am and 4am. It is forbidden to use the water during this time.

The municipality is no longer accepting mixed waste, composting and recycling. Violators are liable to a fine. More info on how to be compliant in the House manual rules and instructions, provided prior arrival.

The home is provided with a starter set (limited supply) of toilet paper, bar or dish soap, laundry or dishwasher detergent and trash bags. Owner does not guarantee that these extra items will always be available. Guests are strongly urged to be prepared to provide their own paper goods, paper towels, personal toiletries & laundry detergent, etc.

Guests will be charged for any missing items reasonably attributable to guests and not returned after notification. The cleaning service performs an inventory/survey of the property after the guests departure. The guest will notify the owner in the event that items were accidentally broken. Upon departure, the owner will notify the guest if items were inadvertently taken and provide the guests with the opportunity to return or replace the missing items at cost.

The cottage has been cleaned, sanitized, linens have been changed and provided in “checkin ready” condition. The property is provided with pillows, linens, blankets, towels, kitchen towels, comforters, hand towels & wash cloths, including extras located in closets. DO NOT wash linens and towels. Guests are responsible for cleaning BBQ grill (if used). Guests are responsible for disposing all trash and recycling materials in plastic bags and to place them in the large bins (green for recycling and black for trash) located on left side of the cottage. Food remnants must be thrown in the composting area behind the cottage (not in garbage bin). Soiled dishes and cooking utensils must be cleaned. Cleaning fee collected at reservation does not include these items.

Cancellation policy:

Full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking, if the check-in date is at least 14 days away. et au moins 14 jours avant la date d’arrivée.

50% refund for cancellations made at least 7 days before check-in.

No refunds for cancellations made within 7 days of check-in.

Liability during your stay we do not accept any liability whatsoever for death or personal injury to any person, or for loss or damage to personal effect, howsoever caused. This applies to any part of the cottage or surrounding area.

Force Nature Owner cannot be held responsible in respect of loss, damage or changes caused by Force Mature (eg: floods, closure of airports weather conditions, terrorist activities or events beyond our control).
