Located an hour north of Mont -Tremblant (30 minutes from the Macaza Airport), in a beautiful forest in regeneration since 60 years, providing a variety of forest types. The land is bordered by the river Rouge on three sides, making it impossible to get lost. It is lined with discrete paths and a private beach (1 km forest hiking).

Several lakes and rivers and a large area of forest are present in the territory of the municipality. Hunting and fishing are the main outdoor activities in our region. Many of these lakes are accessible via public access points.

The longest North American rapids, accessible by road, are upstream of the municipality. Called "21-mile Rapids", they are located between Lake Eagle and up to two kilometers inside the municipality. Well known white water rafting enthusiasts, they are an exceptional natural element on our territory, and probably contributed to the creation of the proposed protected water area of the Vallée-de-Haute-Rouge.

Absolutely wonderful
Absolutely wonderful hosts and wonderful cottage. The place was sparkling clean and very cosy. The fireplace was on to welcome us, which was so lovely! It truly felt like home. The surroundings are also beautiful and serene. We even had a few deer visit us! One hundred percent recommended!!

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour. - la magnifique vue de la rivière rouge - proximité d’un magnifique lac avec une petite plage peu achalandée pour se baigner et s’amuser dans le sable, les enfants ont adorés. - beaucoup d’accessoires de cuisine et grand espace pour cuisiner. - à proximité du village et de plusieurs activités de plein air.

The house was very clean and welcoming when we arrived. Everything was as described and we had a great time exploring the surrounding land. There is an amazing view at the river just 50 m away from the house.
